Touch-Season 1 Episode 7



Martin attempts to find Teller's mysterious workshop and winds up aiding another professor, Logan, to win big at poker. Meanwhile, a young Italian man creates a viral video to track down the love of his life, whom he only met in passing, and a city slicker who plans to sell off his dead father's ranch, winds up learning a lesson from a horse that makes him appreciate the rural life his father chose. Then, Martin's sister-in-law, Abigail Kelsey, visits Clea and Jake at the board-and-care facility, much to Martin's dismay.

Touch-Season 1, Episode 6




A Chinese girl gets a call and starts crying, a man is leaving the office, Clea is standing by a train and looks upset, Jake is swinging and Martin is pushing him; it was all a dream and Martin wakes up. Martin is in Jake’s room, he tells him that he had the dream again, then tells him he loves him and leaves.
Clea is a week away from the final evaluation, Sherry tells her that they should keep all their options open, maybe Jake might have to be institutionalized. Clea gets a call, her mother is in a psych ward.
Martin visits Taylor, he gives him a series of numbers and he knows what they are. He tells Martin he had the same numbers years ago, it’s a road map that connects everyone and everything. The doctors told Teller that he had a brain aneurysm, but he knows he is on to something. He has a few more numbers than Jake gave Martin and needs to speak to him but Martin says no because he doesn’t want any trouble.
The Asian girl is at the airport, she meets the guy who left his office, his name is Will Davies.
Martin is working, he drops off a lost bag to someone who has the police at their house because his son is missing.
Clear is with her mom, she was brought in for shop lifting and hasn’t seen her in six years. The good news, they have a bed available, if she’ll consent. Clea tells her mom that when she got the call that she had gotten hit by a car, she was almost relieved and doesn’t want to feel that way. Clea tells her that she is her daughter and CLea’s mom says she is not, runs out of the psych ward.
Teller goes to visit Jake anyway, he lies at the front desk saying the he has a consult to get in. Jake is painting the numbers 9 7 5, Teller says, “I guess you have been expecting me”.
Clea goes to the desk to find out what her mother tried to steal, it was cough medicine, Clea is puzzled because her mother said she had to go home to her child. The TV is on, the news reports about the little boy that is missing, apparently he has a cold so Clea thinks her mother may have taken the child. Martin is with her and they both react.
Will is with Asian girl, still at the airport, he tells her about a building he told his bosses about and now they are going to tear it down. He goes on to ask her if she ever wondered what her purpose was on earth, she says if she asked her parents they would say to procreate. The Asian girl’s baggage is lost, Will gets the standby seat on the plane but gives her his business card before he leaves.
Teller is with Jake, he asks him about when he was very upset a few days ago. He goes on to say that he has been looking for his patient, Amelia, does he know where she is? Jake finishes painting the numbers 9756. Clea calls the police, they she tells Martin that they are looking into her mother disappearing. Martin has the numbers 975 and tells Clea he thinks they are meant to find her mom on their own.
Will wakes up, there has been a plane crash and he is still in his seat on the ground. In his pocket is his ticket, flight 975.
The Asian girl arrives home unexpectedly because she missed her flight and finds a medium in the apartment with her partner, Serena.
Martin and Clea are looking at a map, trying to find Clea’s mom. Clea tells Martin that a homeless person got hit by a car the other day and had her mother
Will is back at his office, he sees the news talking about the plane crash. His boss walks in and asks what he is doing there, but Will tells him he wouldn’t believe if he told them.
The medium tells The Asian girl that the reason her friend can’t get pregnant because of bad spirits.
Teller is looking for Amelia, he goes to room number 6, the last number that Jake gave him. Sherry finds Teller just before he thinks he has found Amelia.
Martin and Clea are in front of the building where the homeless woman was hit the week before. Clea tells her that this is where she would stand and wait for her mother when she was little. All of a sudden, Clea finds a star engraved into the ground.
Sherry tells Teller that he is still chasing ghosts, he aks her what did they promise her, money? He knows she is a part of this, hiding Amelia.
The medium is still at the Asian girls apartment, he is telling Serena that her partner doesn’t want a baby, only her career and that is why they can’t conceive.
Clea tells Martin that her mother drew the star when she was younger, she thinks she is not that far behind.
Teller is going home, he turns on his car to see the numbers 9756.
Will approaches his boss and asks him if he thinks what they do is wrong. His boss tells him that destroying the building will bring in 14 million dollars of profit, so it’s not wrong. Will tells him they should be turning the building into a museum and it matters, he’s not going to let them tear it down. His boss tells him to slow down, he has his whole career ahead of him. Will says he doesn’t have his whole career, nobody does, he has to do something and it has to be today.
Martin and Clea think they have found her mother, in a building that is going to be demolished, the same building that Will wants to save.
Clea and Martin beg the workers to let them in because they think there is a woman and a child in it, but the guys are ignoring them until Will comes in a causes a commotion.
The Asian girl is with her partner, she tells her that it is not because she doesn’t want kids, it’s because her career is important to her. Her partner says she doesn’t know how much longer she can wait, just then the Asian girl gets a call then goes to turn on the news.  They both see the plane crash, the plane she was supposed to be on.
Clea and Martin are in the building, they take the stairs quickly trying to find them. They arrive on one of the floors and find Clea’s mother, Clea tells her to give up Andy, meanwhile Will keeps distracting the workers outside. Clea tells her mom that she is her daughter and used to live there, she tries to jog her memory by telling her stories about things they did when she was younger. Clea’s mother finally remembers her and gives her a hug, Clea asks about the boy, she tells Clea that she lost him, he was wondering around alone and she thought he would come back but he didn’t. Martin gets directions to where the park is and runs, Will is getting beaten up outside just when Clea comes out of the building with her mom. Clea thanks Will for saving her mom’s life, just when a worker notices that Will is bleeding, they call 911. Will drops the plane ticket, Clea picks it up and sees that it is flight 965, just then one of the worker says that Will is dead.
Martin runs to the park, he shouts out the boys name. All of a sudden he hears someone on the swing, it is moving, but nobody is there. Martin hears a small cough, he walks into the forest and finds the boy and asks him if he wants to go home. Marting picks up Andy and hugs him, but in his mind, Andy is hugging Jake.
The Asian girl tells her partner that they have to get pregnant, she now knows that family is more important than career. They go to look at the donors and her partner shows her a photo of one that she likes, it’s Will, he is a donor.
Martin is at the hospital with Clea, her mother agreed to be checked into the hospital. Clea tells Martin that he was right, the numbers all meant something and she thanks him. Martin tells Clea that last night he had a dream, the same one for nine years, Jake is on a swing and going higher and higher. Jake jumps off the swing and hugs Martin, he feels his breath on his neck and he just wakes up. Clea tells Martin that he is a good father and it’s about time someone told him that.
Clea and Martin go into see Jake, Jake is holding on to a book and doesnt want to give it up. He gets in bed, but is reluctant, Marin sees that Jake has added a 6 to the sequence of numbers and doesnt know what it means. All of a sudden people are shouting and Teller is in his car, either passed out or dead.

Touch-Season 1, Episode 5




The show stars off with a Saudi Arabian girl who is in a room with her dad and another man, the moment the two walk out of the room, she takes off her robe and texts to someone on her father’s cell phone that she will not be marrying some guy. A guy that is lost in NY city asks a to guy him directions, the guy steals his wallet and sees a photo with a little girl inside, he feels guilty and returns the wallet. A girl is in a subway and doctor is behind looking at her, he follows her out the subway. A girl is at church lighting a candle.
Martin is at lunch with his son Jake, Clea is really happy to see the two of them bonding and thinks the evaluation committee has to see the same thing. Today is the first in a series of evaluations to see who gets custody of Jake. Martin mentions Jakes mother to Clea and Jake gets visibly upset and knocks stuff off the table.
Martin goes to see Teller and tells him that he is starting to understand the numbers and today the best thing for Jake is to be his dad. Teller disagrees, he thinks it is best for Martin to follow Jake’s road map.
In Saudi Arabia, the girl is now out in the car, she picks up her friend and tells her they should dress like boys because they get all the choices.
Jake made a pattern out of sugar packets, Teller is figuring out that the number Jake wants to convey to Martin is 22. Normally Martin would be thrilled, but he feels that Jake is now making it harder for him and he doesn’t understand.
At the hospital, the doctor who was in the subway, he tells another doctor that he couldn’t approach the girl, he was too shy. His co-worker tells him to take the jump and talk to the girl or he will end up marrying someone his parents want him to marry.
The two girls in Saudi Arabia are dressed like men and driving in a car when a woman runs in front of the car and screams that “it’s coming”.
The same pickpocket that took the man’s wallet and returned it, steals Martin’s computer. Martin gets on a bus to chase after the guy who manages to get out of the bus, but Martin doesn’t, he sits down and then a women beside him pulls a gun on him.
Martin’s cell phone rings, it is Clea and she is wondering where he is. Martin needs to get off that bus, but the woman is not going to let him go.
The robber arrives to meet his daughter, he brings her a computer wrapped in a bow, it’s Martin’s computer. Meanwhile, her mother and her new husband bought her a car.
The doctor is in the hospital, a couple’s son has leukemia and they need a donor. He needs to check the donor list and get a match.
Teller is in the hospital, he is talking to a nurse and tells her that he slipped in the shower and hit his head, it’s his daughter he is talking to. He tells her about Jake and she doesn’t want to hear about it. He wants to get a hold of a scanner, she wants nothing to do with it. She tries to get him to see a doctor, she thinks he is seeing thinks that are just not there.
In Saudi Arabia, the two girls picked up the hysterical woman, she is about to have a baby.
Martin begs the woman to let him go, she tells him that she is going to shoot him and Martin tells her to go ahead or he is going to talk. She explains that there is a guy on the bus that killed her father and her five year old brother, the man who did it is sitting at the front of the bus and she wants to balance the scales.
Clea is trying her best to negotiate with the evaluators who are upset that Martin didn’t show and Jake has shut down.
In Saudi Arabia, the girls have run out of gas, the woman who is in labour tells them her husband is away on business and asks for their cell phone so she  can call him.
Martin is on the bus, he is trying to convince the girl to give it up. He tells her about his wife being in the towers on 911 and how she called him that morning and he couldn’t get to the phone. She tells Martin that she followed him, she knows where he lives and she has nothing to lose.
The woman speaks to her husband, she is hysterical, he is not paying attention and walks right in front of the bus. It gives Martin enough time to alert the man that the woman wants to kill him. The guy grabs Martin and demands to know what he is talking about, Martin explains but sees that the guy has the numbers 22 tattooed on his neck along with some other numbers and symbols. The girl catches up with them, but there are fireworks which startles her, the man runs and the girl runs into the street and the girl gets hit by a vehicle.
Back in Saudi Arabia again, the woman is still in labour and the girls brother arrives, it is actually not her brother but her father and he is furious. She tells her father that we either define our fate or we are defined by it, he asks her where she learned that and she tells him from him.
Clea calls Martin and tells him that the evaluation is over, Martin is at the hospital and goes into the chapel to read verse 22 which is about not taking advantage of children.
In Saudi Arabia the baby is born and the woman refuses to drive in the car with them to go back to the city because they have brought shame to their families in dressing up as men.
The doctor in Montreal is still trying to find a donor and missed his chance to meet up with the girl.
Martin meets up with the man who the girl was going to kill on the bus, he wants to know why he had the bible verse on his neck. The men explains that they were at war, they didn’t kill the children, they took them to a mission in Canada.
Martin is at the nurse’s desk (Teller’s daughter), he sees something on the screen it is a weird symbol that Jake was trying to show him. The computer screen has the name of a child who needs a bone marrow transplant and Martin is convinced that it the girl on the bus’s brother and he was spared the day her father was killed, he begs her to take a leap of faith.
The doctor in Montreal found his donor and runs to catch the subway, he discovers that he has the wrong bag and is upset. Just then he sees the girl, it is raining and she broker her heel, he offers to buy her a coffee and covers her with an umbrella.
Martin goes to see Jake, he is still awake. Clea takes Martin to the side, she tells him that they want to transfer him. She urges him to give her something to work with, or they are going to take him away.
Back in Saudi Arabia, the girls father is about to turn down her arranged marriage’s father, but his son has met a girl and he cannot marry her, so the girl is broken off from this arranged marriage.
Martin is going through some stuff and he finds a tape that his wife recorded for her son.
At the hospital, the boy gets the bone marrow and meet his sister for the first time.
The girl in Saudi Arabia wants to go to New York and her father agrees.
Clea walks by Jake’s room and hears his mother singing on the tape, Jake turns around and smiles at his dad.

Touch Season 1-Episode 4




Martin receives a letter from the Department of Health and heads out the door. A man is sitting on a bench outside a church and the paper beside him reads that they are still looking for a lotto winner, meanwhile the man has a lotto ticket in his hand.
Martin goes to see Jake, he tells Clea that he got news today that Jake’s mother cannot be identified as dying in the World Trade Center, they have stopped looking. Martin tells Clea that at the time, he thought he had all the time in the world. He wants to take Jake to the cemetery, but he is afraid it is the wrong place for Jake, Clea disagrees and thinks he should bring him there.
At the cemetery, Martin talks about Jake’s mom then Jake begins to run. They arrive at her grave and find a black man, his name is Bobby and he knew Sara, Martin’s wife. Jake runs off to catch his kite, Martin runs after him and starts to tell him about Bobby. Jake drops a book with numbers, then he lets go of the kite. Jake starts to follow the kite and so does Martin.
Martin and Jake don’t find the kite and Martin tells him he is going to take him to a toy store to get another one. 9.5 is the number that Jake was writing in the book and Martin thinks this is a new clue. In Baghdad, a teenager is looking to share his comedic talent with an American soldier.
In charge, a priest is reading of prayers from the bible and the guy who was sitting on the bench with the lottery ticket is inside. He talks to the priest when he leaves and tells him that he didn’t get any answers in church.
Jake forgets to look both ways when he crosses the street, but Martin catches him just in time. Jake is walking fast and Martin tries to keep up to them, they come to an apartment, it is number 65. Kids run threw the hallway with a ball and hit th4e door, the 6 falls down and turns to a 9, a man opens the doorand it is Bobby from the grave site, he says, “you’re following me”.
In the church, the lottery winner is with the priest and he tells him that he has a lot of money and doesn’t know what to do with it. The priest tells him that his father always wanted to put an addition on to the church but he never had the chance. They share stories then the lottery winner tells the priest that he wants to make amends because he thinks he may have killed someone.
In Iraq, a female soldier is in a truck with other soldiers and they are ambushed. She tries to take one of the wounded and hide.
Jake runs into Bobby’s apartment and finds a photo of a little girl, her name is Sarah. Bobby goes on to tell Martin that his wife Sarah tutored him to get his GED and changed his life. He also goes on to say that Sarah didn’t wear her wedding ring and suggests that she and Martin were having marital problems. Martin is beside himself and jumps Bobby, but quickly let him go.
Bobby tells Martin that they were telling people that they should stay inside stay in their offices and he knew that he should have helped Sarah get out,
Bobby froze and he will never forgive himself and he apologizes to Martin.
Bobby’s wife comes in and she asks who they are and Jake goes into another room and locks himself in.
Her name was Sarah Belle and he carried her down 31 flights of stairs – she kept saying Martin and Jake and he wondered if Jake and Martin were in the towers. Then he thought she was not breathing or at least he told himself that. Truth is he could not carry her anymore he wanted to save himself. He is so ashamed. He cannot change what he did. He just wanted to move on so he just started to obsess about the numbers the flights etc. Then he felt if he used the numbers to win the lottery he would be able to move on. He won but he still does not feel any different.
The pastor lets him know he may need time. The Lottery Winner tells him he needs something to occupy him.
The pastor asks the Lottery Winner for help and they go down the stairs and the stairs break and they fall down the stairs and the door swings closed and they are locked in.
The female Iraqi soldier is helping an injured man and she is helping him – she is hiding in the woods with the soldier.
The Bagdad teenager is writing to find out how to get his guitar working so he does not blow things up. The person who owns King Roadie site gets the e-mail and is excited and gives him advice.
The teenage comedian is talking about Chris Rock and someone tells him if he does not get his own voice he will only be a parrot.
Bobby’s wife finds out that Bobby names his daughter after Sarah that tutored him and is shocked. Martin breaks in the room Jake is hiding in and Jakes goes out the window and climbs up the fire escape because he sees his Kite which is attached to a satellite and blows the internet connection of King Roadie who is trying to write to the kids in Bagdad.
Something falls on King Roadie’s key board – he types 95 volts but the thing that dropped change the volts to 950 volts and the message is sent.
Bobby comes out and is going up the fire escape after Jake. Jake is crawling hire to get the kite.
Bobby is trying to convince Jake to come down from the fire escape, but he almost falls and Bobby catches him just in time. Jake freaks out because Bobby is touching him, he lets go. Martin tells Bobby that he just repayed his debt to Sarah, he saved her son’s life.
In Baghdad, the teenagers set the amp to 950, one of the boys thinks it is a little high but they go with it anyway.
The soldiers are still in the Iraqi forest, but getting more tired. The teenage metal band zaps the power and sends sparks into the sky which lights it up and the Iraqi soldiers are nearby, the light helps the rest of the soldiers visualize them.
In the church, the lottery winner and the priest are stuck in the basement. The priest tells the winner that he envies him because he had a sign, when he choose those numbers.
Jake is back in Bobby’s apartment, Bobby tells Martin that September 5th was the last appointment he had with Sarah, again the 9.5.
The priest is trying to break the window in the basement when a guy starts calling for him from upstaird and comes down to rescue the two, he tells the priest that he has a phone call from Iraqi. It is Lori, she has been hurt, she tells him that his words telling to take one step at a time saved her fellow soldier’s life, no matter what happens to her. He promises her that he is on his way to see her, the church doesn’t need him anymore, he has been given a sign.
The teenagers are looking for Lori Davis, the soldier who they were friends with and another soldier tells them that she is gone, she was hurt. The boys still want to audition.
The lottery winner takes over the church and makes repairs, the priest is in Baghdad with Lori, Bobby is happy at home with his family. Martin goes into Sarah’s closet and finds her agenda, he scans through it and finds the last entry was tb jewelers. Martin heads over there and finds his wife’s ring, she wasn’t wearing it because it was getting engraved, one + one equal three.

Touch Season 1-Episode 3




When Martin comes in contact with a homeless man who possesses the same obsession with numbers as Jake, he sets out on a series of seemingly unrelated tasks that connect an abused African woman, a group of African boys entering a dance competition and an outgoing woman at California's famed Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. Meanwhile, Teller (Danny Glover) pays a visit to Jake's board-and-care facility and emotions run high for Clea.

Touch Season 1-Episode 2




In Touch Season 1, episode 2, Clea continues to force Martin to return Jake to the board-and-carehome, which he does despite his new-found communication with Jake. However, Jake then leads Martin to a pawn shop owner named Arnie (Jude Ciccolella). Moments later a robber comes in and shoots Arnie, and although Arnie survives he does not look pleased that he did. Jake escapes the institution to help Martin piece things together; at the same time a flight attendant (Amy Sloan) helps a young Indian man carry his father's ashes to the New York Stadium; a Russian boy realizes that the reason he may have no friends is because his father hurts people; Arnie attempts to commit suicide as he is suffering from terminal cancer and fears that he has no one to love him. In the end, the Russian boy's father was the employer of the robber of the pawn shop, who gives him a second chance in life. The flight attendant was Arnie's daughter, who arrives abruptly and agrees to stand by him. The young Indian man finds an entrance to the stadium and spreads his father's ashes in the center of the field in hopes of finally making his father proud.

Touch Season 1-Episode 1

Touch Season 1- Episode 1

For the third time in three weeks, Jake has run away from school and climbed atop a cell phone tower, breaking the tower's security alarms at precisely 3:18 in the afternoon each time. For Child and Family Services, they, who have previously diagnosed Jake as autistic, see Jake's behavior as Martin not being able to handle Jake on his own, they who send Clea Hopkins to investigate. To perform a proper assessment, she removes Jake from the home and places him in an institution for two weeks where she can monitor him. Martin not only finds that move contemptible, but also believes that Jake is trying to tell him something, especially as the numbers Jake is scribbling seem to pop up elsewhere in their lives, as Jake makes the stray cell phones that Martin has found for him ring simultaneously, and after the lottery ticket Jake temporarily steals ends up being the multimillion dollar jackpot winning numbers. In his search to find out if Jake is just mute or if he has some other condition affecting his behavior, Martin finds Arthur DeWitt of the Teller Institute, he who tells Martin his theory of Jake's condition. Clea begins to believe that their autism diagnosis is incorrect when she views Jake first hand. Meanwhile, one of those cells phones which almost made it into Jake's possession makes a 'round the world trip from London to Ireland to JFK to Japan to Baghdad where it ends up making it full circle from its owner, a distraught father, to the wannabe pop singer to the enterprising prostitute to the teen who wants to help his family by buying a commercial oven for their baking business.
